Responsible for leading and overseeing the church's Sunday School program, which includes developing age-appropriate curriculum, recruiting and training teachers, managing class schedules, coordinating special events, and fostering a positive learning environment for children and youth, all while integrating biblical teachings and spiritual growth within the church community. 

Selecting or creating relevant and engaging Bible-based curriculum for different age groups within the Sunday School program. 
Teacher Recruitment and Training:
Identifying, recruiting, and providing ongoing training for Sunday School teachers to effectively deliver lessons. 
Class Scheduling and Management:
Coordinating class schedules, room assignments, and overall Sunday School logistics. 
Special Events Planning:
Organizing special events like Vacation Bible School, holiday programs, and family-oriented activities related to the Sunday School ministry. 
Parent Communication:
Maintaining open communication with parents regarding their children's spiritual development and Sunday School activities. 

Plan events: Create and organize activities, retreats, and mission trips that encourage spiritual growth 
Teach: Lead Sunday school and other educational programs, including Bible studies.

Work with parents and other adults to ensure youth are involved in healthy activities.

Providing pastoral care and support to students within the Sunday School program. 
Volunteer Coordination:
Enlisting and managing volunteers to assist with various aspects of the Sunday School ministry. 
Budget Management:
Overseeing the budget allocated for Sunday School materials, supplies, and programs. 
Collaboration with Pastoral Staff:
Working closely with other church leaders to integrate the Sunday School ministry with the overall church vision and goals. 
Qualifications for a Sunday School Minister may include:
Strong Christian faith and commitment to biblical teachings Experience working with children and youth
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to develop engaging curriculum and lesson plans
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Passion for nurturing spiritual growth in children and youth

Communicate: Collaborate with church staff and other organizations to facilitate programs 
Provide support: Offer pastoral care and support to youth and their families.

Community outreach comes in the form of a food bank and clothing collection to benefit residents, those in the Caribbean, and others internationally.

Develop and manage the youth ministry budget
