EMERGING IN GRACE. Life always holds surprises! If some are good, others are bad...I even wondered if I understood the power of God's grace. Frankly, have you ever wanted to scream, "Lord, where are You?" My friends, the grace of God is active in any season of our life. Whether we go through torrents of anxiety or dance for joy, it is by His grace that we live. In fact, what makes you so special is the grace of God that always keeps you safe. I love this encouraging verse which says: "The Lord roars from Mount Zion, from Jerusalem He makes His voice thunder. Heaven and earth tremble! But the Lord protects His people, He is a refuge for the Israelites" (Joel 4.16). The perfect Shepherd is YOUR Shepherd! He takes care of you! When you feel that God is distant, perhaps it is you who has strayed from the refuge He offers you. Today, why not take a few minutes to pause and draw closer to Jesus? Come and contemplate the fruits of His grace! Your Shepherd tells you: "Let Me be Your refuge and Your support, a help that never fails in distress." And here is the answer you could give Him: "Lord, my Rock, my Fortress, my Deliverer! My God, in You I find a safe shelter! My shield, the strength that saves me, my high refuge!"
